The Wild Lavender plants grows wild throughout the interior of Portugal, making it the most peculiar honey of our country.
Its colour reminds us of gold and it has a very floral aroma which is a characteristic of the Lavender plants. When we taste it we perceive it as being, probably, the world's sweetest honey!
It is widely used in cooking, in sweet and sour sauces, and added to fresh cheeses, natural yoghurt or dried fruit, it originates pleasant and amazing desserts.
